Sourced from a single farm in Brazil, from farmers who we have worked very closely with for a number of years. This is Calum (one of the family farmers) with our founder, Alex.
We take these speciality beans, hand-roast and date stamp them to order for ultimate freshness. We roast using a unique method, we call it our chocolate roast, to really highlight the coffees flavours. It takes twice as long as a typical roast, but we think it's worth it!
AWARD WINNING
Not all coffee is created equal. Speciality coffee is independently graded out of a score between 0 - 100. Anything over 80 is classed as speciality. The score is based on defects in the coffee and the overall taste, such as balance, sweetness, body. This coffee scores a whopping 85!
The farm is Rainforest Alliance Certified and uses all its own organic fertilisers. Not only that, as we trade direct with the farm, it's better than Fair-trade.
